Choosing a Christmas tree and understanding the different types of branches

• PVC branches are made from thin plastic foil, which is cut into strips and twisted around the branches. The result is a rather flat and ribbon-like needle/branch, which up close tends to look more artificial.
  Plus: branches made from this material are faster and easier to produce, which makes it the more affordable option.
  Minus: less realistic.


• PE (polyethylene) branches are cast in molds - each branch is 3D and closely resembles the needles and branches of a real Christmas tree. Thanks to this, the result is a much more natural and fuller appearance.
  Plus: realistic, dense, and beautiful.
  Minus: more expensive to produce, therefore higher in price.


• Mix PE. Many Green4ever Christmas trees are made with a combination of PVC and PE materials. This means that the inner and trunk-close branches are made of PVC - these give the tree more volume and density. The larger and outer branches are made of PE, which look very lifelike.
  Mix PE might be the balanced solution between 100% PE (very lifelike, but expensive) and 100% PVC (cheaper, but not so realistic) - a mix PE tree is both beautiful and natural-looking while also more affordable than 100% PE.
