How do hanging artificial plants attach?
Today we thought of sharing some practical information with you. We have been asked from time to time which ones to see Artificial plants anchorages and where and how they could be installed. We decided to put together a short blog post, because such specimens have always been popular among you, and here you can get some ideas.
We really only have photos of many hanging specimens in front and close-up view, and the fact that the attachment point doesn't seem to be positive is actually hidden behind the leaves / twigs for a reason. Broadly speaking, hanging plants have two different types of backs. The second story is with moss panels and other green mats. Now all we have to do is take them one by one.
Lush hanging plants
In the case of plants with many leaves and stems, the flexible part of the strong plastic is located in its upper, most lush place. To avoid too confusing a description, we'll show you better photos so the picture is clear.
The easiest way is to simply prick the vase, plant box or decorative pot and hang it to the extreme. We have used this option even the most. Often the heavier rear part keeps the plant in balance and falling out of the pot.
However, if the plant does not want to stay in the empty pot due to its weight, use something to fill it. For example, if the pot is on a higher shelf and the filling does not stand out from under the plant anyway, you can use anything you can find in the household. Foam plastic is also a good helper to insert the specimen into and there is no fear of it moving anywhere. However, if you want a perfect result, we recommend using sand, gravel or fine gravel, for example, to throw a handful of decorative stones as the last layer.
By the way, foam plastic is an ideal tool even if your decorative pot or plant box is too deep and you need to lift the plants higher somehow. Cut pieces of foam of the required size, fill the box and use stones / gravel, etc. as the last layer again.
In addition to being inserted into the pot, the barely perceptible plants on the back also allow you to attach them nicely to the wall. How do you like what you see in the pictures below? We will write about how to put the back of the plant on the wall below.
Vegetables
Such long plants have a thin metal wire inside that extends to the ends. The end of the wire is easy to twist and easy to fasten to the desired location. In these cases, the thin attachment points do not stand out at all, because you can easily hide them under the leaves. Some wreaths also have a ring at one end, some just wire.
Green moss mats and plant panels
Let's take as an example our popular moss and ivy.Moss mats are designed to be used together in many ways, which is why the backs are easy to hook up to each other. You can see the details in the following photos.
The back of the mat has a plastic grille on the back, which allows the product to be fastened in different ways, the best possible solution depends on the project itself and, above all, the surface where the mat goes. If you need to fill a large concrete wall, the products can first be attached to a thin wooden board, for example, and this in turn to a one-piece concrete wall.
Self-adhesive fasteners can be used to install both panels and hanging plants. These can be found, for example. There are hooks, nails and racks, and for some projects it is also suitable to use tape.
Hopefully the picture became clearer and, as always, if any questions remained or were added, we would always be happy to answer. Send an e-mail or contact us via online chat. :)
